Toolbox for AWS IoT

Streamline the process of developing IoT applications with Toolbox for AWS IoT

Streamlining how Internet of Things (IoT) applications are developed helps companies stand out and spur innovation across sectors, as connecting and leveraging data from countless devices empowers data-driven choices, optimized operations, and creative new offerings in today's fast-changing tech world. As IoT adoption continues to grow, developers face a significant challenge: the need for comprehensive testing capabilities. The importance of rigorous testing in IoT development cannot be overstated, as it ensures the reliability and performance of IoT applications in real-world scenarios.
Toolbox for AWS IoT is a sample application which aims to improve testing options and address the challenges of developing IoT SQL statements and record and replay MQTT messages.
It provides a web-based frontend allowing you to author AWS IoT Rules SQL statements and test them directly against a custom message or against a message arriving in a topic on the actual AWS IoT Core MQTT broker. To have a reproducible stream of messages, e.g. for testing your application, the Toolbox for AWS IoT also allows you to record messages arriving on the MQTT broker, and to replay them in the original order and with the original timings either on the original topics or on a prefix defined by you.
