This repo contains patterns showing how to build RAG based applications using infrastructure-as-code (IaC). It provides 2 base architectures:

* Amazon Bedrock + Amazon Kendra integration SAM and CDK templates for supported Kendra connectors

* Amazon Q Business SAM and CDK templates for Q Business supported connectors.

The versatility of Amazon Kendra and Q Business connectors demonstrate the ability to build scalable, knowledge-rich generative AI applications that can adapt to a wide range of use cases and data source requirements. With multiple prebuilt connectors to a large number of data sources, including Atlassian Jira, Atlassian Confluence, Amazon S3, Microsoft SharePoint, Salesforce, and many more the patterns can help create a generative AI solution with minimal configuration. The patterns are designed to be reusable building blocks, allowing organizations to quickly adopt and adapt them to their specific needs. Customers can use these GenAI patterns to quickly build integrations using AWS SAM and CDK templates.
