This builders session will show you how to build infrastructure as code (IaC) literally by using imperative coding styles using CDK. Using CDK, you can build foundational as well as higher abstractions of your infrastructure. You will learn how to incorporate your organization's standards and best practices and share them as patterns to your application teams. These patterns can then be provided to respective application teams using their preferred programming language. This session will show you how you can make developers your best friends. You will need basic programming skills (TypeScript will be used but you will see how that becomes a non-issue as CDK patterns can be easily generated for languages like Java/Python/.NET etc) in addition to running basic AWS CDK and NPM commands in CLI.
